Option 1: Regenerative agriculture with InVivo Group

Join InVivo Group for an immersive and eye-opening field visit that promises authentic encounters with two farmers at different stages of advancement in regenerative agriculture.

Participants will have the opportunity to engage directly with them and experts from Soufflet Agriculture, Soufflet Malt, Episens and InVivo Group involved in InVivo’s Sowing Good Sense sustainability programme. They will share how they are supporting farmers, through metrics, to create environmental benefits and innovative economic models, at the crop rotation level, that facilitate the global scaling up of regenerative agriculture.

Sebastien Juillet has dedicated himself to regenerative agriculture since 2016, managing his farm with a highly diversified crop rotation including wheat, barley, rapeseed, sunflower, hemp, sorghum in the Aube region. With support from Soufflet Agriculture, Sebastien has adopted regenerative practices to local conditions for optimal results — such as diversified crop rotations, soil health enhancement and biodiversity restoration. His farm stands as a true testament to how regenerative agriculture can be effectively scaled, by mobilising an ecosystem of partners and agronomic, technological and economic solutions. This visit offers the opportunity to hear his personal experiences and insights into how regenerative practices can drive long-term sustainability while improving the economic outlook of farming operations by creating economic outlets on the scale of the crop rotation implemented by the InVivo group’s companies. Sébastien’s insights into how regenerative agriculture can be a sustainable economic model, while reducing environmental harm, will be an essential part of this visit.

Laurent Hubert’s farm in Seine-et-Marne region is a progressive model for integrating regenerative farming with economic sustainability. Since 2020, Laurent has successfully implemented innovative strategies such as no-till farming, multi-species cover crops, extended crop rotations, and other practices tailored to local soil and climatic conditions. Participants will see how Laurent’s farm takes a sustainable approach to the value chain, balancing ecological benefits with economic objectives. Laurent will also highlight how data collection enhances regenerative practices through tailored progress plans. Learn how initial assessments and ongoing support contribute to a more sustainable agricultural and food transition.

Farmers and experts will share their experiences with implementing the Regenerating Together Framework (RTF), giving different perspectives depending on each farmer’s level of advancement in regenerative agriculture. The InVivo group supports farmers on a day-to-day scale, and its size also enables it to carry out concrete projects all along the value chain to build tomorrow’s solutions by mobilising the most advanced technologies (low-carbon fertiliser production plant, integration of biodiversity impact indicators into farm management tools, soil fertility mapping coupled with field analyses, new business model, etc.).
